Document Archive and Access System (DAAS)

Document archive used across CSU campuses. Scanned and born-digital records get filed, indexed, and retrieved from one place instead of filing cabinets.

The problem
University records lived on paper — filing, retrieving, and sharing documents between CSU campuses was slow and physical.
What was built
A web-based document archive with search and request tracking, used across CSU campuses for paperless transactions.
My role
Designed and developed the system; deployed and maintained it.
Where it stands
Temporarily under maintenance (daas.csu.edu.ph).

Online Document Management System (ODMS)

Document routing for CSU-Gonzaga: memos and requests move between offices with a tracked status instead of a logbook.

The problem
Campus documents at CSU-Gonzaga moved between offices by hand, with no way to track where a memo or request stood.
What was built
A document workflow system that routes and tracks documents for campus operations.
My role
Developed the system for CSU-Gonzaga; ran it in production.

Koha Library Cataloging System

Koha ILS for the CSU-Gonzaga library — catalog, circulation, and OPAC, replacing card-based records.

The problem
The campus library needed cataloging, circulation, and a public catalog without commercial library-software licensing.
What was built
A Koha integrated library system on Debian, customized for CSU-Gonzaga.
My role
Installed, customized, and maintained the system.

Self-hosted Moodle for CSU-Gonzaga coursework. Described in my 2019 ICCAI paper.

The problem
Students and instructors needed an online learning platform the campus could run itself, at no cost per user.
What was built
A self-hosted Moodle LMS for CSU-Gonzaga coursework.
My role
Deployed and administer the platform.
What I learned
Deploying and running it for real classes became the basis of my 2019 ICCAI conference paper on the iLEARN portal.

Nextcloud instance for file storage and sharing — my own data, on my own server, instead of a subscription.

The problem
Personal and work files were scattered across devices and third-party services.
What was built
A self-hosted Nextcloud instance for file storage and sharing.
My role
Run it on my own infrastructure for personal use.

LGU Document Management System (LDMS)

Document management for the Municipality of Gonzaga's offices — the ODMS approach applied to LGU records.

The problem
The municipal government's records were paper-based, with the same filing and retrieval problems the university had.
What was built
A document management system for LGU records, applying the same approach used for the university's ODMS.
My role
Set up the system for the Municipality of Gonzaga.

The municipality's official website — announcements, services, and transparency documents. Custom-built for the LGU, self-hosted.

The problem
The municipality had no official web presence for announcements, services, and transparency documents.
What was built
The official municipal website — a custom build for LGU Gonzaga, self-hosted.
My role
Developed the site, customized it for the LGU, and maintain it.

Learning Environment Network System (LENS)

Before the pandemic, I conceptualized and proposed using Moodle as the university's online learning platform — I originally suggested the name iLearn. The CSU administration adopted the proposal and named it the Learning Environment Network System (LENS), and during the pandemic it became the students' mode of learning. I installed and configured the deployments across the campuses.
